Grab your umbrella and boots and take the short trip to La Conner the weekend of February 2nd and 3rd for Rainy Day Art Weekend. Known as one of the Northwest’s most-love arts communities, Rainy Day Art Weekend features rain-inspired art in the many galleries and shops, rain-inspired window displays and front-stoop decorations, and winter-time comfort food and drinks in the local restaurants and pubs.
Our shop and lodging owners enjoy thinking creatively about our long, rainy winter and love showing off their whimsical take on the weather and the season. Our restaurants pull out all the stops for comfort foods – steaming bowls of chowders and soups, hearty main dishes that warm you all the way through and dreamy desserts that will cheer up even the dreariest of days.
February is the month of romance; our Rainy Day Art Weekend is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day a bit early – you can stroll and shop, tuck into a cozy table at one of our restaurants and then end your romantic day in one of our amazing hotels or inns!
