Families and Kids

Remember when you are a child and you loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of every town you visited? It was so fun finding all the cool stuff you could do outdoors, buying a trinket to take home as a memento and eating at restaurants that knew how to make the perfect grilled-cheese sandwich. Oh, and maybe getting a little extra education along the way.

We remember those days too. We also know that as parents, it’s sometimes hard to travel as a family when you’re not sure exactly what your destination has to offer in the way of kid-friendly activities. We’ve rounded up some great ideas for you, including things you can do right here in La Conner, as well as day-trip itineraries. We’ll also add to this list on a regular basis … and hope you’ll tell us (info@laconnerchamber.com) about the things you did while in La Conner and the Skagit Valley region that were family-friendly and a whole lot of fun.

By the way, check out our photo and video pages on our website (under the Love La Conner tab) – we love it when folks upload their photos and videos to share with others!
