When you ask local residents – and our visitors as well – what they love about La Conner, they’ll often offer a comment like this: “There’s just something about this town, and this valley, that always brings about a sense of peace. I don’t really know what it is, but it feels almost magical. And … for such a tiny town … there are so many interesting and fun things going on all the time. We simply love La Conner!”

We believe that the four elements of our heritage, Art • Water • History • Earth, are a large part of what makes this town and valley one of Washington State’s most magical, and most-loved destination communities, and we celebrate those elements in a wide variety of fun and educational ways. From events such as Arts Alive! and our other arts and culture-focused weekends, to events centered on the Swinomish Channel, the history of La Conner and our agricultural heritage, there really is a lot going on in our amazingly vibrant tiny town.
