You all have heard about the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival right? While the tulips are our most famous blooms, there’s nothing quite as wonderful as entire fields of bright, cheery daffodils against our Mt. Baker backdrop. It’s just so beautiful in March with the Daffodils blooming and there are so many fun events and exhibits in La Conner during March. If you can’t make it to Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April, skip the crowds and join us in March this year for the La Conner Daffodil Festival 2017!

La Conner Beer Festival – Brew on the Slough 2016

La Conner is the kind of town where you can walk and enjoy one-of-a-kind shops, art galleries, a variety of cuisines including our very own brewery all in a two blocks. You can choose to walk the sidewalks of our community or on the scenic boardwalk, with the backdrop of the Rainbow Bridge to the South and Mt. Baker to the North. What better place for a beer festival!

The 2nd Annual Brew on the Slough 2016 is happening on Saturday, October 15th from 5-8pm w. registration opening at 4:30pm (La Conner Visitor Center)
Featuring 10 sips at 10 locations on Morris and First St. in historic La Conner.

Tickets available online until 10am Saturday 10/15, tickets can be purchased at the door beginning at 4pm…

John Wayne’s First Yacht Now in La Conner – Norwester Museum Tour

John Wayne returns to the Pacific Northwest! The Norwester, John Wayne’s first yacht, is a piece of our own history officially anchored as of July 9, 2016 in beautiful La Conner, Washington.

The 76-foot yacht has been renovated and restored as a museum, showcasing items owned by “the Duke” as well an assortment of antiques and actual props used in his movies. Visit the Norwester and experience a “live” time capsule of Washington’s shared history with the legendary actor and producer John Wayne. “Tomorrow hopes we have learned something from yesterday.”
